Grape Agate/Amethyst from West Sulawesi, Indonesia. It was originally introduced to the market as Grape agate; however, recent scientific studies have concluded it is actually amethyst. It is thought to have formed in the gas bubbles left over from volcanic lava flows, but we don't know this for sure.
Some pieces are covered in druzy, making them sparkle. Some are green from inclusions of celadonite, a type of mica.
